    The Muscatine Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in identifying
    a suspect involved in an robbery which occurred at Central State Bank, Hy-Vee Branch
    Office (2400 2
    nd
    Avenue Muscatine Iowa) on the evening of 12-16-09. The offender was
    reported to have entered the store at approximately 4:25 p.m.., demanded an undisclosed
    amount of money and fled the scene on foot.
    The suspect’s physical description was given as a white male, brown/blonde hair, 6’00”
    tall, 180-200 pounds and is thought to be between the ages of twenty and thirty years of
    age. The offender was listed as having scruffy facial hair. Clothing worn by the suspect
    was observed as dark colored sunglasses, black hat, a dark colored coat and facial scarf,
    black gloves, blue jean pants and white athletic shoes.
    The investigation of this crime continues. The suspect should be considered dangerous
    and if anyone has information as to the identity or location of the suspect, they should not
    attempt to confront the individual but call 911 immediately. The offender should be
    considered innocent of the aforementioned crime until proven otherwise by a court of law
    and the public is encouraged to contact the Police Department with any information
    concerning the identity and/or the location of the offender. The public is asked to call
