On 03-27-09, the Muscatine Police Department received a report of an unknown subject
allegedly enticing three juvenile males into a vehicle and later attempts to have sexual
relations with the alleged victims. After received the report, the Muscatine Police
Department investigated the allegation resulting in the arrest of Erik Aaron Huerta, a
twenty-six year old male residing at 1415 First Avenue, Muscatine Iowa. Huerta was
charged with enticing away a minor (Class D Felony) for his involvement in the incident.
Huerta is being held in the Muscatine County Jail awaiting his initial appearance.
The investigation of these offenses continues. The above listed individual should be
considered innocent of the aforementioned crime until proven otherwise by a court of
law.
A class D felony is punishable by a maximum five-year prison term and a fine not to
exceed seven thousand five hundred dollars.
