    On 11-12-08, the Muscatine Police Department arrested Marcus Williams (20 year old
    male) of 612 Sycamore Street Muscatine Iowa for one count of Burglary in the first
    degree (Class B Felony), one count of going armed with intent (Class D Felony) one
    count of Aggravated Domestic Assault (Aggravated Misdemeanor) and one count of
    trespassing (Simple Misdemeanor).
    On 11-12-08 the Muscatine Police Department responded to 1816 Logan Street
    Apartment J-4 Muscatine Iowa in report of a burglary in progress involving a male with a
    knife. Upon arrival, police located Marcus Williams and identified him as the offender in
    the aforementioned crimes. Williams was arrested at the scene and taken to the Muscatine
    County Jail.
    A class B felony is punishable by a maximum 25-year prison term and a fine not to
    exceed ten thousand dollars. A class D felony is punishable by a maximum 5-year prison
    term and a fine not to exceed seven-thousand five hundred dollars. An aggravated
    misdemeanor is punishable by a maximum two-year prison term and a fine not to exceed
    six-thousand two hundred fifty dollars. A simple misdemeanor is punishable by a fine not
    to exceed six hundred twenty five dollars. The court may order imprisonment not to
    exceed thirty days in lieu of a fine or in addition to a fine.
    Williams is being held in the Muscatine County Jail without bond until his initial
    appearance scheduled for the morning of 11-13-08.
    The investigation of these offenses continues. Williams should be considered innocent
    until proven otherwise by a court of law.
