The Muscatine Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in identifying

a suspect in a robbery/theft investigation that occurred in two area businesses (Kum and

Go 1010 Park Avenue Muscatine and Steamboat Landing 3509 Steamboat Way

Muscatine Iowa) on the evening of 02-11-08. Attached are surveillance photos of the

offender involved in the crime. The offender's physical description is described as a white

male, 6'01" to 6'02" tall, 180 –200 and is describe as being in his mid to late thirties in

age. The offender was wearing a red, black and gray diamond shaped coat and dark

colored pants.

The investigation of this crime continues. The suspect should be considered innocent of

the aforementioned crime until proven otherwise by a court of law and the public is

encouraged to contact the Police Department with any information concerning the

identity and/or the location of the offender. The public is asked to call 563-263-9922 Ext

614 with information concerning this case. Callers may remain anonymous.
